Bellamy Young is best known for her role of Mellie Grant on ABC's Scandal. LA was kind to her (Promised Land, Prodigal Son, The Waltons, Wrinkle in Time, We Were Soldiers, Mission Impossible:3), but she is happy to be back in her heart's home of NYC. On Broadway, she was Mary in Cy Coleman's The Life; off Broadway, Meg in Susan Shulman's Merrily We Roll Along revival. Other favorite collaborations include being Margaret in the Randy Newman/David Mamet Faust & LouAnn in Landford Wilson's Book of Days. Young is proud to be a Gender Justice Advocate & Ambassador for CARE, as well as to be able to represent & support the HSUS & the Center for Reproductive Rights.
