Zach Larimer

Oboe

Zach Larimer is a New York City-based woodwind artist known for his versatility across more than 20 instruments and his work on Broadway, regional theater, and the concert stage. His recent credits include performing in the orchestra of Suffs on Broadway, as well as numerous Off-Broadway and regional productions across the Northeast, including A Little Night Music at Ogunquit Playhouse and Neurosis at the Daryl Roth Theatre.

An active orchestral player, Zach has been a member of The Chelsea Symphony since 2019, where he fell in love with the English horn — an instrument he first claimed he could play in high school to get into a local youth orchestra, then quickly had to learn on the fly. Since then, he’s become a regular performer on the instrument and was recently featured in an episode of Long Bright River, now streaming on Peacock. He also enjoys collaborating on new music and has contributed to a range of premieres, including the development of pieces written specifically for multiple woodwind soloists.

In parallel with his musical career, Zach serves as a Director of Media Strategy at a leading performance marketing agency, where he oversees digital campaigns for national consumer brands. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Oboe Performance from New York University, where he studied under Robert Botti of the New York Philharmonic.
